GLASGOW INTERNATIONAL SWIM MEET

I was appointed as the Head of Marketing on the board of the Glasgow International Swim Meet 2019 organising board, and was responsible for the overall marketing efforts for the event.

Key Achievements:

  • Increased sponsorship revenue by 75% on previous year.
  • Key role in bringing the event its first profitable year.
  • Social media strategy achieved organic growth of 250% on previous year with zero ad-spend.

Strategic Plan:

My appointment saw the implementation of strong foundations to be carried forward in future events, with several sustainability aspects introduced to allow for reduced costings in years to come.
